English Language Challenges

My experience learning to speak another language is quite complex, I have always been struck by languages, especially French for their pronunciations, but since we were little they taught us English, they told us that English was the global language and that without it We could not leave the country... really in my basic education they told us so much but they taught us so little ... I did not have the best teachers in the world .. and the truth did not call me much attention this language, so I did not really learn much about this , as the years went by I learned the basics of English thanks to songs and videogames, but when I changed school I realized that my level was really low ... and even though I tried to learn, I just could not do it, I really think that I had to learn as a child because I currently feel that I can not understand much.
In the university I started with English 3, and in spite of not being good in the language I was able to improve my vocabulary and my pronunciation a little thanks to this course.
I am currently in English 4 and I have improved my ability to talk a little more, but I really do not feel able to speak freely because in spite of everything I do not put sentences together quickly.
Blogs were the best idea to be able to learn vocabulary and be able to develop better with writing in English.
I use English for basic things like reading some sentences, reading letters, video games ... but no more than that, and despite practicing these same things every day, I really believe that I will never learn to speak English freely.
