In my opinion...
Well ... of all the options that the teacher gave the one
that I liked the most cloning, honestly I do not handle much on this subject
but it is the most interesting.
The definition of cloning can be defined as the process by
which identical copies of an organism, cell or molecule already developed are
obtained asexually by means of its DNA.
Cloning is a topic that covers many areas but I would like
to focus on the cloning of living beings as animals, since this is something
that had been researched for many years and about 22 years ago, the first
successful animal cloning was achieved.
The cloned animal was a sheep named Dolly, which was cloned
after 227 attempts, since the success rate of the experiment was 15-30%.
The birth of Dolly is the result of a nuclear combination of
a differentiated donor cell and an unfertilized and nucleus-free ovule. A
six-year-old Finn Dorset sheep was the adult animal from which the cell was
extracted for cloning, from the mammary gland.
This great step took place many years ago, at present it has
not been given much fame, in spite of how important it is at present, I
sincerely believe that the cloning issue is something fantastic, since it can
be used for infinite things like ... being able to clone me and being able to
be in many places at once, this way I would not be tired all the time and maybe
I would pass my bouquets.
Seriously speaking, cloning is really important because it
is widely used in the health field, for example, to create vaccines, new
medicines and to improve the quality of the food we eat.
Many things that thanks to cloning are within our reach
today.
I'm with you, cloning is very interesting and it's the future.
