Welcome to my Mind

My favorite piece of technology? It's a difficult decision because the computer it was the first object what open my mind to the world of technology and the cell phone is what I use the most at the moment, but well I select the cell phone because it’s almost a small computer that you can keep in your pocket. I got my present cell phone two years ago and use for many things. Listen music, watch photos and videos, play video games, save information, communicate with important people in my life, technically I can do everything. My cell phone is part of my life and if I lose it would totally disconnect me from the world. I do not consider myself addicted to the cell phone but in this technology based world it's a must.

I always liked science, but my interest in chemistry as a career started with a chemistry teacher who helped me and other classmates during the hard process of choosing what to do with our lives. The subject was easy with him and we all learnt a lot more than previous years. In my last semester, I decided I wanted to study "Chemistry and Pharmacy”. A couple of weeks before the day of applications, my brother took me to an university fair to see other options and they told me more about the career of chemistry itself. I liked the idea of investigation in industrial areas besides medicines, so I took it as a second option. Unfortunately, I was not selected in pharmacy, but I entered to “degree in chemistry”.  Now, after a year, I like my actual career and I don’t regret my decision. In a future I plan to work at my uncle’s company, CCU, studying new formulas to improve the quality of the drinks.

Hello my name is Arturo Alexander Andres Salinas Tobar. I was born on 9 of May of 1998, my age is 18 years old, I have a two brothers and I'm from Maipu district. I'm live with my Mom and my little brother. My mom work how interior designer and my “little” brother with 17 years old studies Trainer Sport in the University of Santiago. I'm currently in the second year of the University, study chemistry in the University of Chile. I like chemistry because in my time of lyceum the best teacher was the Chemistry, He taught me to love what many hated. By the way studied in the Liceo Nacional of Maipu. In my free time I watch anime, play video games, play the guitar or simply I see of the ceiling.
